Andy was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois. He attended Peoria Notre Dame High School and competed on both the Cross Country and Track teams. Like David, Andy also attended North Central College and ran for the Cardinals all four years. While in college, Andy received All-Conference status several times.
After College he ran on the Dick Pond′s Racing Team for a few races and is currently the assistant men′s coach at Benedictine University. Andy currently lives in Oswego, Illinois with his wife Molly.
